Fashion brand Adolfo Domínguez presented the Fall/Winter 2026/27 collection, “The Number,” at 080 Barcelona Fashion.
The fashion proposal coincided with the brand’s first appearance on the Barcelona runway, taking its fiftieth anniversary as a starting point to revisit some of its key historical elements from a contemporary perspective.
The collection is constructed as a revision of the archive, understanding the brand’s history not as a literal quote, but as living material. Thus, the rounded volumes of the 1980s, the draping associated with the 1990s, and the presence of denim as a fully integrated element of contemporary fashion reappear. This generational journey translates into a collection that moves between memory and present, with a clear idea of continuity rather than mere homage. The number 50 is integrated into the garments through embroidery, lace, and techniques such as devoré, making the anniversary a visible motif within the collection.
On the runway, rounded silhouettes, layering, and color blocking set the collection’s true pace. In accessories, the collection points to a presence of mini-bags, which accompanies this update to the brand’s universe.
In his debut at 080 Barcelona Fashion Week, Adolfo Domínguez brought his archives into the present without pretension, as a manner of continuing to define his own unique style.
