Under the creative direction of Pedro Palmas, the firm presented the 2027 collection, Tiempo, at Gran Canaria Swim Week. This collection takes as its starting point historical architecture, translating its forms, proportions, and volumes into the world of swimwear.
The collection explores the relationship between past and present through references to cathedrals, monuments, and Renaissance technical drawings. Elements designed to endure that become part of a visual language and find in the body a new medium.
The prints reinterpret columns, domes, and architectural reliefs, transforming construction details into highly precise graphic surfaces. The collection is based on an orderly and geometrical approach that runs throughout, lending coherence to the whole.
Swimsuits and bikinis incorporate geometric cuts, strategic openings, and cut-out structures that reinforce this connection to architecture. The palette combines cream, black, and burgundy, accompanied by antique silver details that enhance the interplay between light and shadow on the garments. Clean lines and meticulous pattern making complete a proposal where construction and functionality advance in tandem. Time transforms the runway into a space where stone, drawing, and the body share a common language.
