A Garden Among Damas Ibéras: Dolores Promesas and Duyos

09/09/2026

Dolores Promesas and Duyos presented their Spring/Summer 2027 collection Lola at OMODA Madrid es Moda in the gardens of the National Archaeological Museum. The collection features 55 designs created for special occasions and the red carpet.

Lola revisits Dolores Promesas’ Heaven universe with a contemporary interpretation, centered on the diversity of women and their body as a living garden. The carnation dress exemplifies this floral interpretation: the shoulders become petals, the skirt unfolds into a corolla, and the ruffle incorporates the petunia as a recurring motif. The color palette: mauve, peony, jasmine white, bougainvillea, nasturtium orange, aqua and sky blue, chlorophyll green, and pink, run throughout the entire collection.

Maxi hats, chunky shoes, hummingbird earrings, and oversized necklaces pay homage to the Damas Íberas of the National Archaeological Museum, the venue for the show, bringing their ceremonial attire to contemporary galas.

Lola presents the red carpet as a complete wardrobe, not as a series of separate pieces, with 55 looks and a consistent repertoire of accessories as a unifying theme.

* The Damas Ibérias are 5th–4th century BC limestone sculptures housed in Madrid’s National Archaeological Museum. The Damas are carved limestone sculptures depicting aristocratic women, priestesses, or deified ancestors dressed in elaborate ceremonial attire.blending local Iberian traditions with Mediterranean influences like Greek, Phoenician, and Punic styles.
