UNTITLED: The ACROMATYX Archive

16/09/2026

Firm ACROMATYX, under the creative direction of Franx de Cristal and Xavi García, presented UNTITLED, its Spring/Summer 2027 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, marking their fifth anniversary. This, the tenth, collection stems from a review of their own archives, taking proportion as its primary mode of expression and the balance between volume and restraint as its starting point.

ACROMATYX builds this collection around the concept of contradiction as the guiding thread: lightness coexists with structure, and delicacy with boldness. The process begins with the firm’s own archives, from which Franx de Cristal and Xavi García retrieve and reinterpret previously developed patterns. Artist Tito Pérez Mora contributed to the collection with five pieces, also creating an installation that complements the fashion show.

Proportion, rather than volume or color, articulates all the proposals. Throughout the collection slim silhouettes coexist with straight lines and architectural volumes, creating body tension between these two registers. Fluid organza and nylon are combined with satin, cotton, and cold wool, while innovative fabrics blend with the House’s traditional materials.

The color palette ranges from white and sheer fabrics to pastels—such as dusty pink and violet—punctuated by lime green and intense blue for contrast. Black, the firm’s unmistakable seal—rounds out the spectrum to continue being the color that ACROMATYX maintains as a constant while revising the rest of their own archive.
