Spanish fashion is gaining international presence. On the one hand, the impact of the fashion shows and collections by Spanish designers is generating a greater impact in global media. And on the other hand, some companies already consolidated in Spain are growing with new points of sale and online stores in international markets.
Recently, some of ACME's associated creators have made news outside our country, as some of the most prestigious fashion magazines in the world have echoed the proposals of Spanish designers. As more recent examples, Vogue Italia has published an interview with designer Leandro Cano to present his collection "Corrida" F/W 2108 with more than 20 images taken in the creator's homeland. And Ulises Mérida’s boutique is one of the essential addresses to go shopping in Madrid, according to the LV Guide of Madrid compiled in the pages of Vogue France.
Additionally, Marcos Luengo has been the Spanish designer invited to show in the latest edition of Fashion Week Panama, in which he has presented next spring / summer’s collection. And Maya Hansen has even travelled to China to create a lingerie collection that will soon be released. She is also currently working on a unique piece based on Chinese art silk embroidery from late nineteenth century.
On the other hand, Roberto Verino continues with his expansion in global markets. The Galician company, which has its main international market in Mexico with three boutiques, five corners and an online platform, is preparing to disembark in Chile, Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica, Panama and Ecuador in 2019.
