The designer from Cordova, JUANA MARTÍN premiered in the official calendar of Paris Haute Couture with a collection inspired by her homeland and her culture. Once again the fashion designer invited her friend, and well-known actress, Rossy de Palma to participate in a spectacular fashion show enlivened by the voice of flamenco “cantaor” Israel Fernández accompanied by Diego del Morao on Spanish guitar.
"Andalucía" is a fashion proposal loyal to her flamenco and her avant-garde style. Juana Martín has relied, in this collection, on the collaboration of different artisans and artists such as Vivas Carrión for the millinery, and goldsmith Plata Pura highlighting the famed Cordovan know-how regarding jewel crafts.
The collection, in which black and white predominates, is made of enriched fabrics such as wool and natural silk. Tulle and organza provide volume to creations that are filled with embroideries and details confirming Juana Martín as a leading, international reference in Spanish couture, being the first Spanish woman to showcase her fashion in the official Haute Couture calendar thanks to the invitation of the Fédération Française de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM).
