Amidst Baroque music and black velvet, Palco unfolds. Pilar Dalbat presented her Fall/Winter 2026/2027 collection at OMODA Madrid es Moda. True to her connection with COAM (Official College of Architects of Madrid), a venue that regularly hosts her presentations in the capital city, the fashion designer returns to this setting to present a collection conceived as a theatrical experience. The collection establishes a dialogue with the 75th anniversary of the Granada International Festival of Music and Dance, together with the cultural dimension of the Alhambra, where music, architecture, and fashion share a common vision.
The presentation featured 28 looks and was organized as a hybrid experience. Twenty pieces were displayed on mannequins, interacting with the guests while countertenor Carlos Mena performed a Baroque repertoire. The rest of the cast is embodied by models, muses, and friends of the signature brand—including Palito Dominguín, Pino Montesdeoca, and Irina Cacherina—who moved through the space as though they were living presences within the fashion narrative.
The collection translates this theatrical atmosphere to the wardrobe. Black dominates the scene and is combined with chocolate, cream, and pink. Long capes, XL skirts, and black and gold velvet dresses coexist with jewel-encrusted cashmere coats and jackets. Hand-embroidered details with crystals, beads, and bugle beads adorn the surfaces, while sheepskin adds a tactile dimension that intensifies the pieces’ theatrical character.
