The Museo del Traje CIPE welcomes the presentation of the exhibition “Saints by Zurbarán: Devotion and Persuasion”, which establishes a relation between the paintings of the artist from Extremadura with the creations of the fashion designers.
The designers of ACME, Elio Berhanyer, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Devota & Lomba, Francis Montesinos, Angel Schlesser, Duyos, Ana Locking, Roberto Torretta, Hannibal Laguna and Victorio & Lucchino, among others, robe the saints painted by Zurbarán.
The exhibition, a project of the City of Seville with the support of BBVA, may be seen in the Espacio Santa Clara of Seville from May 3rd to July 20th.[:]
