Today, Gran Meliá Palacio de los Duques hosted the presentation of the new Gran Meliá uniformity, designed by prestigious fashion designer, Juan Vidal.. This formalizes the alliance between two references of Brand Spain, on the one hand, a pioneer in luxury hotels with a global presence and, on the other, a dressmaker who won the Best Collection Award on four occasions at MBMFW.
From the mind of the man from Alicante, a collection of practical and elegant garments was created, enhanced by the use of color blocks and organized by ranges according to the type of task carried out.
Furthermore, timeless patterns are intended to enhance the naturally varied silhouettes of the hotel’s staff.
Juan Vidal's style is characterized by the wise union of creativity, tradition and, without a doubt, special attention to details. Receiving the proposal from Gran Meliá meant a challenge in which the objective was to merge classic elegance with modernity beginning with a utilitarian base, as it meant working with uniformity. Thus, the designer indicates that "at first I was not aware of the number of needs and differences that exist in the different looks that encompass the hotel, but I am very happy with the result we have achieved. "The final result breathes the Mediterranean air of Meliá and at the same time the sophistication of our seal."
In fact, in the search to elevate the aesthetics of clothes for work, reflecting the refinement that characterizes Gran Meliá, Vidal points out that his inspiration came from "a classic style, but with a chic touch, choosing color blocks according to the departments of each hotel and seeking adaptation and diversity to different body types.”
